Trouble unlocking power domes... perhaps incorrect code from Ghen?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or my own silly problem, but I simply cannot get the power domes open. Now I know the unlock code in Ghen's lab book is unique for everybody, but mine happens to be 10-11-12-13-14, which seemed to be a rather odd combination, but I guess it is possible if it is truly random. I'm sure of the above numbers, 10 is the number 2 rotated a quarter turn counter clockwise, 11 is similar with the number one superimposed on it, etc. I've gotten the Great Dome's mechanism to power up and then promptly gone downstairs to the nearest dome and entered the code to no avail. Let me know if any logs and such would be of use.

I had encountered the same problem before so what I did was start over with a new game and then it seemed to work. Also after starting over the numbers were set randomly instead of the 10-11-12-13-14 configuration.
