skipping movies and zip mode

Asked by Ben Heidenreich

In the old version of Riven, it was possible to skip movies that were playing by pushing the space bar, and also to enable zip mode, in which case clicking on certain areas of the screen (over which a lightening bolt appears) would quickly transport you to a distant location. These features would be especially useful when debugging Riven X for those of us who don't know the debug commands and have to get around by clicking and watching (sometimes long) movies. Are there any plans to implement these features?
    Cheers,

- Ben

I don't plan on implementing those features before the 1.0 cycle, but they will probably come in an early 1.0 beta. In the mean time, the most useful command is card <stack> <ID> to move around.

The stacks are bspit, gspit, jspit, ospit, pspit, rspit and tspit. You can use set rendering.card_info 1 to display the current card (and 0 to turn that back off).
