Riven X

quicktime 10 installed but says needs update

I installed Riven X using original disks and played it once for a short while. I saved the game. Then I updated system 10.6.8. Quicktime version 10.0. When I tried to open the game, it said I needed a newer version of Quicktime. I threw all the game pieces away, tried to download it from the internet again. Same message. I tried downloading Quicktime 7 version 7.6.6 but the download does not see it. Also, the download does not ask to see the disks again, I just get the message requesting a newer version of Quicktime. What is going on please?

This is fixed in 0.9.7, but you'll need to download it manually.
