Can Rhythmbox edit ID3 tags?

I can edit them, but they just change back to original. Any ideas??

It usually happens with read-only mp3 files that came from a DVD.
You should try adding write permission.

I don't use the Rhythmbox editor anyway.
I just rename the files by "Artist - Title" and have small script that sets the ID3 tags to those values using the command-line id3v2 program.
