Availablity of local Music Store

Asked by Darcy

To help other people that also may not be able to find particular music in the Ubuntu One Music Store without really understanding why, would it be possible at all to have a message show up for users of the non-country specific stores (like the world store)?

It could say say something like:

"At this point in time there is no Ubuntu One Music Store in [your country]. Until an Ubuntu One Music Store is available in your country, you will only be able to browse the [world/eu] Music Store, and because of licensing issues, this may restrict the range of music available to you."

Or something like that anyway. If that was easy enough to do, then you could even update that in the future to say something like. "While there is still no [your country] music store available, it is scheduled to be opened on xx/xx/xx, so the range of music available to you will be greatly expanded then".

Hi Darcy,

Yep, I spoke to Matt Griffin about this yesterday and we're going to put some messaging up about this. We'd also like to do a survey to see which regions are most popular to do next, which would go along with this messaging.

Thank you for the helpful feedback!

Joshua
