I purchased music but now I can't find it anywhere on my system.

Asked by Brendan Martens

I have now purchased music twice using the one store, the first time it *eventually* turned up in the weird hidded folder that people talked about previously. This time it is no where to be found, despite seeing that my computer network downstream activity was upwards of 1mbit, and I wasn't using the computer for anything else... I also see the music is in my Ubuntu One account, but it simply won't sync to anywhere I can find on my computer.

The My Downloads section within the RB plugin just says "Transferring to your Ubuntu One storage." that hasn't changed in an hour for any of the tracks.

It is rather frustrating to purchase music in the store and an hour later still not have listened to a single track.

I would open a bug, but I just don't know what is wrong.

Looks like my problem had to do with the sync daemon not running, even though the Ubuntu One gui menu said it was connected... Weird. I forced it to run as described in the bug I've linked this question to, after that it started working fine.
