RescueTime Linux Uploader

How can I install the uploader and help test?

Hi, I came across this project from RescueTime's get satisfaction forum.

Can anyone help me install the uploader so that i can use and test it.

I tried to download it before - i'm not quite sure what i did, so is there anyway i can 'purge' my install and start fresh (this is because the firefox addition is not working).

I've only ever installed packages by apt-get and synaptic.

How long ago did you install it? The latest 2 updates move to a new install system, and the old one didn't really "install" anything, so there should be nothing to purge. You should be able to run "python setuptools.py build" and then, via su or sudo, "python setuptools.py install".

The Firefox addon hasn't been updated, other than to modify the install.rdf file to make it compatible with Firefox 3 beta. If you're running Firefox 2 the old addon should work fine.
