should the preferences include password as well ? ...

Hi,

I use ubuntu 10.10. I have followed all steps in README and I installed the uploader on my ubuntu and I use version .99 of course.

when I run the uploader script it begins uploading and when I check when the data is sent, it says successful but there's no sign of receiving data on your side since my dashboard shows no aggregated data for the day or week !

I was wondering if I need to add password to preferences file as well, since you only have saved email in that file.

what am I doing wrong ? thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Nima,

you did nothing wrong. There is currently an issue with the interface that the Linux uploader uses and rescuetime's service. The issue is currently tracked with bug 522046, which is still open from an earlier occurance of the same issue.
