RedNotebook detected as trojan by Bitdifender

After I install RedNotebook, the Bitdefender antivirus moves it to Quarantine and I see the message: "Item was deleted. Threat name: Trojan.GenericKD.42281811. Path: [...] "
Why is this happening? Is it safe to exclude it from the threats list in Bitdefender?

Yes, there's no trojan in RedNotebook. Antivirus programs often detect false positives like this (see also https://github.com/jendrikseipp/rednotebook/issues/472).
