RedNotebook opens, but then closes...

Asked by CYNTHIA RULLAN

RedNotebook opens as expected, then unexpectedly closes after I type a few characters. I'm using version 2.8 on a Dell laptop running Windows 10 Home edition. Reinstalling does not fix the problem.

Hmm, judging by the log, everything seems to work. Unfortunately,
there's nothing in the log to act on. Please update this question if you
find out more about this bug. One thing you could try is starting
RedNotebook (rednotebook.exe) from the command line and see if there's
any helpful output.

Is there a way to download 2.7 or 2.7.1? (I see links for 1.15 and 2.8
only.)
