Txt files getting corrupted and lost

Today I tried to open rednotebook and it didn't open. I found the problem which is the same one I've had a couple of times before. The txt files for one of the months was corrupted. If I delete that file, rednotebook opens as normal, but with all the text for that month missing of course. This has happened at least twice before, but in the past I lost txt files for months that were backed up, but this time I lost the current month, which I haven't backed up for a couple of weeks, and I lost a lot of important notes. I have searched my computer for the file name (2018-10.txt) but I only found the corrupt version. I don't suppose there's a way to recover this file? Or how can I prevent this from happening again in future? I don't want to have to backup every day. Here is the last log from .rednotebook.

Thanks for reporting this! There was a similar report recently where the
problem was that the whole month file only contained the blank symbol,
i.e., the character #x0000. Is this the case for you as well, or does
the file contain readable symbols as well?

Hi Jendrik, thanks for your reply! If I open the text file I don't see anything, although the file size is 17 kB.
