How can you find hashmarks that were used v2.4

Asked by John Li

Is there some place where it lists all the hashtags that have been used? I am on Windows 8 using v2.4.
So since the cloud function went away it is hard to search for tags I made up last year without going through them manually then make a note of it. Today I searched for #, I get 4-entries: (ie.)
2017-10-24 #Received ...
2017-10-25 #Received ...
2017-11-08 #Received ...
2018-01-18 #mh ...

Why did it only find 4 and not over 40+ entries? If I search for a specific hashtag, #work - then it does list them all.

Is there anyway to add to the sidebar a fuction/button which can list of all the hashtags that have been used?

Thanks for any help on this.

I'm afraid listing all hashtags is currently difficult on Windows. I'm
working to get the tag cloud back into the program, but it's rather
complicated. The search only searches for complete words, so it doesn't
help here. What you could do is search for all words starting with # in
the RedNotebook month files (i.e., 2018-05.txt, etc.) with an external
program (on Linux you'd probably use "grep" for this).

I know that you mentioned that you were working on the tag cloud and how there are some Windows hurdles to get over. I know since they are text files it is an easy search to file the hashtag items whether in Window or Linux. All the best and Thanks for the info.
