Backup and restore?

Asked by Peter Wendel

I'm new to rednotebook (my third day). I see that I can backup my datafile. But suppose I need to restore it one day? It appears from what I've read here that the restore or import functionality isn't available yet. I just wonder what I would do in the event my main file gets corrupted or I have a drive failure or whatever. (What good is my backup if I cannot restore it? Perhaps I'm being thick and am missing something obvious!)
I really like the program however. Very slick, simple interface. Perfect for keeping a diary.

Since RedNotebook works on simple text files, restoring a backup just
means copying a month file into the journal directory. The default
journal location is ~/.rednotebook/data by the way.
