RedNotebook now in OpenBSD current as of 15 Sep 2017- solved

Asked by Daniel Villarreal

I really would like to see RedNotebook added back to OpenBSD ports.

http://cvsweb.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/ports/productivity/rednotebook/

I've emailed Antoine Jacoutot, asking him if there's any chance of adding back to OpenBSD ports.

https://github.com/jendrikseipp/rednotebook
Requirements ... WebKitGTK+ (>= 2.16)

https://github.com/jendrikseipp/rednotebook/blob/master/CHANGELOG
== 2.1 (2017-07-29) == * Make webkit optional (but highly recommended)...

Is there anything that can be done to make this more likely to happen ? Thanks!

The issue with RedNotebook 1.x was that it used an outdated version of
gtkwebkit. RedNotebook 2.x uses the newest gtkwebkit version, so it
could be added back to OpenBSD ports. However, the initiaive probably
has to come from one of the OpenBSD devs, I think. I'm happy to help though.
