suggestion to have RedNotebook more readily accessable

Asked by Eduardo Burbano

Congratulations on programming a very elegant program. May I suggest a thing or two to make the program much more useful and more appealing? The way it is works very well and is very similar to other desktop note applications. To make it the most effective way to store all journal notes and more fast in note taking, more unique, you could make it be more thrifty with screen space by making it sit or dock with a color bar of your choice anywhere around the edge of the screen and have it pop up when you move the mouse pointer to the color bar that sits at the edge of the screen. That way is always there ready when you need RedNotebook and out of the way when you don’t. When you move the mouse out of the programs box and click on something else the program hides back on to the edge of the screen. If you happen to move RedNotebook away from the edge of the screen and it shrinks or docks where you can’t see the color bar because is no longer at the edge of the screen you can then click the icon in the system tray to make it reappear unless you program it to snap back to the edge of the screen if you move it away from the edge.

My regards and again congratulations on writing a very elegant program.

If I understand you correctly, the thing you're describing sounds very
similar to a task bar, i.e., the normal bar, where the running programs
reside.

Can you help with this problem?
