Can't install Rednotebook in Ubuntu Mate 17.04

Asked by zeonite

When I try to install Rednotebook in Ubuntu MATE 17.04 I get the following error:

$ sudo apt install rednotebook
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 rednotebook : Depends: python-webkit but it is not installable
               Recommends: python-enchant but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

This appears to be the same error that occurred in 16.04, but solutions offered do not work in 17.04

Thanks for the report! I'm already working on a port to GTK 3 and Python
3 which should fix this problem.

Can you help with this problem?
