Rednotebook an a Mac not like on Ubuntu

Asked by Norman LeDonne

I installed Rednotebook an a Mac running Sierra, according the to instructions that you suggested using Winebottler. It did open successfully, but looked like a standard text document. It had none of the great features that I see in Ubuntu. Did I do something wrong? How can I get the Mac version to look like the Ubuntu version>

Well, by default RedNotebook looks just like a standard text document on
all platforms. You'll have to add pictures and use the preview mode to
see more than text :-) If that doesn't help, can you please post a
screenshot to show what you mean?

Can you help with this problem?
