hashtag syntax ?

Hallo,
w/o having looked at the code (I couldnt find any explantation in the markdown) :

Why can't I hashtag non-alphanumeric characters? E.g. #c++ ?

Good point. That's a restriction we should probably remove. Added to the
TODO list.
