Thanks for notifying me about this. python-support seems to have been
deprecated in favor of dh-python. I updated the packaging info and a new
package should land in the rednotebook-daily PPA soon. If it doesn't
work then, please tell me.

launchpad imports currently hav some issues with git branches so it
might take a while until a new package appears. Until then, I recommend
using the Ubuntu rednotebook package, i.e. not the one from the PPA.

I have downloaded the rednotebook from github, and try to install it. However I got some errors. I have installed anaconda, is that a problem for rednotebook? Thank you.

Yes, that may be the problem. You'll have to install pywebkitgtk with
anaconda.

To use the system python, you'll probably have to call "/usr/bin/python
path/to/rednotebook/journal.py" or similar.
