spell check

Asked by Rob R

Hi,

I am trying to install the dictionary to allow spellchecking of my entries. I am following the instructions given in the help pages but I can not find the file <RedNotebook Dir>\share\enchant\myspell on my PC. I have looked under the program directory but to no avail. I have tried a search and still can not find it. Can you help by telling me how to install the dictionary under Windows 10.

Many thanks,
Rob R

I just checked the installer. The directory should be under C:\Programs\RedNotebook\share\enchant or similar. Have you tried searching for enchant? Which language are you trying to check? The following languages are bundled with the application:
af_ZA.dic de_DE.dic en_GB.dic en_US.dic es_ES.dic id.dic ru_RU.dic

Hi,
Thanks very much for the reply, I found the enchant file but it only contained 2 .dll files. So I wan not sure what to do however, I checked to see if RedNotebook needed updating and I was using an older version. Once updated the spell check works fine.
cheers,
Rob R
