Suggestion: Text Markup Cheatsheet

Asked by Humble.Heathen

I'm a n00b to RedNotebook; however, I am a developer/geek, so I do know my way around software in general. As I began to get familiar with RedNotebook - how it works, how to get the most out of it, etc. - I realized that I was completely unfamiliar with the text markup symbols. I looked through the RedNotebook help, to no avail. So, after a little digging around I found comments here and there explaining that txt2tags is the markup/edit control you're using for rich text. Given that it was simple to find a nice, simple cheatsheet for txt2tags - which means it's a great cheatsheet for RedNotebook and any other non-geek n00b users.

I would like to ask that you put a link to this Quick Reference Guide on the RedNotebook site. If it were my project I'd put it both in the Downloads (assuming the txt2tabs peeps are kewl with that) and also in the Help file (at least a link; the full sheet would be the cherry on top! ;) ).

Here's a link to the Txt2tags Quick Reference Guide : http://txt2tags.org/txt2tags-quickref.pdf

So far I'm loving RedNotebook - keep up the great work!

Thanks for your suggestion! This is indeed a nice reference. However, I
think it might confuse users since not all options are (officially)
supported by RedNotebook. Furthermore, the most important constructs are
available in the GUI menus anyway.

Can you help with this problem?
