How do I delete unwanted Tags from the Tag list?

I accidentally created a tag I don't want to keep. How can I get rid of it so it no longer appears in the list of Tags? Thanks.

Hi, you will have to click on the tag to get a list of all days that
contain the tag. Then you can go through the days and remove the tags
there. Unfortunately, there is no automatic way of removing tags. If you
want to keep the tag in the day's entry, but wish to hide it from the
tag cloud, go to Edit->Preferences and add the tag to the list of hidden
tags.
