Saved files in Win 7 not visibly in Ubuntu

Asked by eontraveler

I am using RedNotebok in Win 7 and now also trying to open saved .txt files in Ubuntu. But now file grayed or not readable.
What can I do to recover the files. I like RedNotebok
Thanks

Remember that RedNotebook opens directories, not files. Just open the
directory that contains the greyed out files.

Thanks , I have a directory in my dropbox that I have called Journal, where I have put and saved my files, I have chosen the directory as you suggests but from Rednotebook ctrl+o now the directory seems empty.
But from filesystem there are 5 .txt files

It may be the case that the files are just greyed out. Try clicking
"Open" when you see the empty directory to open the directory.

Can you help with this problem?
