Changing bg-color for preview, cloud, tag in Windows version of Rednotebook 1.8.0

Asked by tpgames

I can not figure out how to change the background colors for PREVIEW from white to black, or the cloud/tag color to be not white. The other answer for this does NOT work on Windows 7 as there is no CSS files, .PY files, or GUI folders.
Thanks!

I'm using RedNotebook 1.8.0
Windows 7 computer (and would like an answer also for Windows 8 computer, if different)

I am looking at files using Jedit.
I am not good at using terminal, as I tend to fat finger.
I am trying to go through rc files, but don't know which ones do what.
I have looked at the main_window.glade file, and nothing in there gives me what I need to add to the gtkrc file in order to get what I want.

I did download a windows theme - Black-n-Blue-GTK and it did change the edit screen and everything EXCEPT the cloud, tag and preview areas.

I also tried adding to the gtkrc file:
 GtkToolbutton::gtk-media-play = @bg_color
 GtkToolbutton::gtk-media-play = @fg_color
Results: No effect. lol

Thanks!

Sorry, changing the background for the preview is currently not
possible. In future releases I might make the css styles available
outside the exe, but this might take a while.

Two of us would greatly appreciate the ability to change the background colour as we both have color sensitivity issues. Also, some people (like me) might need custom background and text colors in order to process what we read the best.

Thanks for the program though! It is very good.
