Font Style - Superscript and Subscript

Asked by Randy Baker

I just downloaded and have started using RedNoteBook. The first thing I notices is that I am unable to change a font to superscript or subscript in text mode. I see that I could use HTML or Latex, but it would be far more convenient if the options were added to the Format Menu.

While not the end of the world, it would be useful as I do like to use superscript to easily identify some notations that I will be journaling.

I would argue that super- and subscript are not used by too many people.
RedNotebook tries to stay simple and therefore I would rather not
include these options. Hope you understand.

Thank you for your response. As a programmer in the 1980's, I came to learn the hard way that every request granted adds complexity to maintaining the code. In those day's, I was a "Yes can do" programmer and I came to deeply regret that. I have used RedNotebook a few times last week and it is good software, you have done a very good job.

I use superscript numbers frequently in each daily entry to identify the verse numbers of Bible passages I am noting. As such, iDailyDiary is a journaling solution that does allow for super/subscript if you wish to pass that on to anyone in future.

Best wishes
Randy
