How secure is RedNotebook when it comes to privacy?

Asked by Fordis Blogpost

Hi there,

Can anyone please confirm to me what will or might happen on the below-listed scenario:

I'm working on my diaries using RedNotebook on someones PC but then suddenly the system crash, unexpected error or something like that, I'm not sure, but I cannot get it to start again.

My questions are:
Where will my data go then?
Where will it be?
Will the next user of that PC able to find my diaries there?
Will the next user able to read my personal diaries, notes, email that is already saved in my RedNotebook app?

By the way, I'm using the portable version of RedNotebook and it is saved inside my USB stick. I'm just wondering how if the system crash whilst I'm using it, it is currently open at the time of unexpected error. Will there be any data from my RedNotebook left behind there on that PC? Will the next user of that PC able to see some of the data that was left there, if in case there are?

Thanks and regards,
Fordis

YOu crash a program it will leave things behind any program will do so. I suggest you not crrash the program. YOu have also been answered in the PortableApps forum as well. I suggest you stick to one site or the other
