Can you add entries via the Command Line?

Asked by jonathan sandusky

I would love to use this with my command line. similar to how todotxt uses aliases to quickly add entries. like
$rnb "Had lunch today, is was awesome."

Currently, you can't do that, but you can file a bugreport so we don't
forget about this nice idea.

The idea is really nice! Please "report" this feature. =)

I think the program should append two \n's before each
command-line-added clause and stick it to the end of today's entry
-- for easier readability.

I'd use it, and, with the ability to add time and, perhaps, more stuff
at a given place in the text
($rnb "^time^: somebody rang at the door. The webcam snapshot of the
ringer is located at /home/user/photo/" . {script to autoappend the
name of the newest picture in that folder})
would turn RedNotebook into an autologger for many purposes!
