Suggestion : Could RedNotebook open entries in preview mode

Asked by NoteWorthy

Would it be possible to have the option of opening RN pages/entries with exisiting content in preview mode rather than edit mode?
When I go to read past entries it would be preferable to have them open in the more readable mode. No disrespect to the usefulness of markup code but rendered text looks more appealing and as I am not printing much of the content it would be nice to see it 'finished' when reading back over entries.
It makes sense to open an empty date in edit mode at first, but could the viewing 'mode' change when an entry that already has content is opened?
(There is another question, answered, on the forum about having the renderer modularized ( 179830 ), and it seems to be a challenge that is being investigated. I hope my suggestion is not redundant.)

Thank you!

This is an interesting proposal. However, I think switching modes
implicitly could be very confusing for the user. The current behaviour
is not optimal, but there might be better ways of handling this that are
more intuitive.

Can you help with this problem?
