how to kill the Cloud in V1.3

Asked by richard shuey

Desire to not have Cloud (left panel) present in Rednotebook Version 1.3. Frequency of word occurrence is not helpful in finding information. The Cloud is a distraction and clutter.

(Many things I like about RedNotebook. It is not overloaded with useless 'features'. Keeps my information in plain text files where, if need be, I can get to it with an ordinary text editor. I use RedNotebook to keep track of events (visits, phone calls, repairs, etc.) for the 20+ properties we manage. Each property has a Category nickname. This is how I find when, for example, we replaced the stove in a rental house. I also use RedNotebook for some diary type entries, but only if something unusual happened on that day.

RedNotebook is clean, elegant, and simple; but for my purposes the Cloud is not useful and is a distraction.)

At the moment the easiest way to get rid of the cloud words is to add
the regex .* (point-star) to the cloud blacklist in the preferences.

Thanks. (Had already tried just * in the config file. My knowledge of regular expressions is rather primitive.)
Pay-pal gives me fits, but If I can figure out how, I'll leave a donation.
