Hi, the left pane of readnote book is not showing area 4. Only the search text field is visible and I can't select words, Category or Cloud etc. Also area 3/6 used to show both tags and categories now only the "Add tag" button is shown. I can't find any preferences for this. Is this a change to the interface or is my installation corrupt?
I really love this software but would like to have old interface if possible.

Hmm the area 4 not being real small makes me wonder if you have customized your view? Bring your mouse cursor over to th eline between area 4 and 5 it should change appearance, left click and hold mouse button, you should be able to re-size it that way, As for the cloud/tags issue I think it has bee discussed previously here.

I do not have an eline to click on, only the search button shows up. Beneath that is what shows up in area 7.

What you see is expected, the interface has been simplified. See here:

FYI I guess I was unclear as to what your defined areas were, BTW I run it on Windows, PortableApps as well as Ubunut 1.04 LTS. As I also said and Jendrik posted there was an answer.

Can you help with this problem?
