Phonebook ?

This is where Category/Entry (or Subtags) mechanic shine.
Add all the phone numbers into any day using a specific category (for
example, "Phone" or "PhNumbers") and add all the addresses as category
entries (Pat Metteny -- 8-800-1234567).
When you need to find the appropriate number, just do a category search
-- and they all will be listed for you in a fairly convenient table. ;)

This definitely works for RedNotebook 1.2 and earlier: I am not sure if
it works with 1.3 and its Tags/Subtags mechanic.
Could anybody please approve or disapprove it, dear answer contacts?

That should indeed work. If it doesn't in 1.3, it will in 1.4 ;)

well, after reading on a few other subjects, it does NOT work on 1.3,
and thats all there is today. cannot see any 1.4 anywhere - can you?

1.4 has not been released yet. The feature will kinda work if you make a
search for "phone", but it will also show days with "phone" in the main
text...

What about making a definite tag prefix that would make a tag-only or a
Tag-with-Subtags-only search?

Something like:
#category
##category
~category
%category

The fourth option should work in most keyboard layouts, so I am voting
for it!
The third looks cool, and the first is the usual one, so it is bad. =)
