delete tags and catagoies

Asked by John Pettinga

I want to start an new journal fresh with no tags or catagories. Also, how do I delete a tag if it was made in error or misspelled? Every time I try to set up a new journal all the pre-existing tags and catagories are present. I'm using portable.

I would also like to better understand the file structure. I have tried to set up new journals and create some tests that I want to delete.

Still no solution for the deleting of non-used tags?

You will have to delete the unused tags one by one unfortunately.

For the file structure have a look at the help (Ctrl-H).

I vote for adding a way to manage the tags so we can delete ones that are no longer used or mistakes. Possibly show a list of all tags, with a number next to each representing how many times it is used. Maybe even allow a search and replace or mass rename of a tag.

Is there any solution now available for organizing tags, especially for the problem of not being able to delete or edit them?

Please make a way to delete unused tags.
Like, let's say I have "books" and "Books." When I go to "add tags" both are there, even if one was a mistake. Likewise, if I decide I don't want a books tag at all, it still gives me both choices, even if I have erased all info from them.

Can you help with this problem?
