Thank you for providing this applet! Do you have any plans for supporting the current LTS (20.04)? If so, do you have an approximate timeline for it? Is there anything someone with little knowledge of the Ubuntu packaging process can do to help?

It is available in the default universe repository in 20.04, you should just have to:

sudo apt install indicator-notifications

which should work in Unity and Mate.

If this is about the new default Gnome Shell environment that Ubuntu uses, I haven't made anything for it, because it already sort of has a notification manager, and it would require a complete rewrite to work as a gnome-shell extension.
