Unable to find file reame dialog

Asked by Marc Bria

I have been looking the new UI for a while but I'm not able to find where is the rename dialog.
I mean, I found the subfolder one (little engine in the images side block) and I also found a tab called rename, but this tab does nothing (as well as the rest of the tabs).

If this is not yet implemented, is there a way to modify this behind the scenes in a config file or whatever?

Thanks for your help,
m.

It is mostly implemented and has been so for a couple of months. However I'm still finishing up the example file name code, and until that is done I cannot release 0.9a5.

Meanwhile use this:

rapid-photo-downloader --import-old-version-preferences

From the man page: Import preferences from an old program version and exit. Requires the command line program gconftool-2.

Thanks Damon for the incredible fast answer.

The problem is that I never installed RPD in this computer.
Could I emulate the old version preferences somehow?
For instance with a copy of the old preferences of another computer?
If yes, what files need to be copied?

Thanks in advance,
m.

Install the old version. Configure the renaming preferences how you like. Uninstall it. Then import the preferences as above. You cannot simply copy a preferences file because the file format for the preferences is now very different, as well as the actual content of the preferences themselves.

Can you help with this problem?
