Control file overwritten, Depends not used

Asked by chris-enlight

I am editing my debian/control file to include a package and after building my deb successfully with "quickly package", my dependency is not taken into consideration and when re-examining the debian/control file it shows the original file. Is this by design? Am I not supposed to edit the debian/control file to add dependencies?

Thanks for trying and using Quickly.

So, first question is: why adding a dependency not detected by Quickly? Is it compulsory or why do you need it as it seems you don't use it as "import ..."?

Quickly override each "Dependencies" each time you share/release/package your project to ensure that it only depends on needed librairies. But there is no change on "Recommends" or "suggests". Recommends are installed by default on Ubuntu, this is maybe what you want to use...

Can you help with this problem?
