two types of appointments

Asked by Joost

Hi there,

Is it possible to differ between the kind of appointments that operators can make?
Sometimes a respondent asks to call back somewhere in the next day (type a) and sometimes a respondent asks to call back a specific time in the next day (type b).

When it is the next day the type b appointments have to get priority.

In the default outcomes I found these two outcomes:
- Definite Appointment - Respondent (= type b?)
- Unspecified Appointment - Respondent (= type a?)

I expected the definite appointments got priority over the other ones, but that does not seem to be the case. How does it work?

Kind regards,

Joost van der Horst

Hi Joost,

Currently the type of the appointment is not taken into account by the scheduler. It treats all appointments equally, but will schedule appointments with shorter windows first (i.e. an appointment with a 30 minute window will be scheduled before one with an 8 hour window). This should take into account the situation you specify.
