Can I get qpdfview to work with a touch screen?

Asked by Ante

I've got a Lenovo MIIX 320 tablet pc with detachable keyboard.
qpdfview is very fast on this rather slow Atom machine but I can't get it to work well with touch screen. I can use the forward/back buttons but they are positioned at the top of the window. It would be excellent if I could move thru the pages by swiping left/right or click in the left/right margin.

Hello Ante,

Qt does have some support for touch gestures in its widgets API [1]. But it needs implementation work in qpdfview and I have never used it before. So I think a wishlist bug report would be appropriate to see if anyone (including me) finds the time to pick this up.

Regards,
Adam

Yeah the swiping gesture might be overkill if it is much work but a more tablet friendly way of navigating would definately improve the user experience alot. I've posted a request bug report. Thanks!
