Is it possible to keep the menu bar hidden?

Asked by Removed by request

Currently, even if I hide the menu bar with Shift+Alt+M, it appears each time I launch the program and I was just wondering if there is a way to keep the menu bar hidden each time the program is launched, so that it is not necessary to press Shift+Alt+M each time. (Fantastic program by the way - thank you very much).

Hello Edward,

as you point whether the menu bar is currently hidden is not yet persistent, but could easily made to be by putting this information into qpdfview's settings file.

Until someone finds the time to actually implement this, the only workaround I can think of is using a Qt style sheet to try to hide the menu bar, but that sounds like a rather complicated approach and might not really work (being limited to setting the height to zero instead of hiding and such).

Best regards,
Adam
