layout suddenly changed

Asked by monkeybrain2012

Hi,

One day when I started qpdfview the layout somehow changed the box with page number and forward/backward arrows used to be on top and now there is a sidebar and they are there. See screen shot here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bzniaucupr65yed/AAAdalMwbeDjwyjhG60lR4_1a?dl=0

I am sure I messed up something since on my other machine with the same version of Ubuntu (16.04.3)and qpdfview (from ppa) it looks the same. But I can't seem to find a way to change back in the original look from settings, please help.

Thanks.

Hello,

from the looks of it, the edit tool bar has been dragged to the west side of the main window instead of the default north. You should be able to drag the tool bar back there by "picking it up" at some point that is not part of an interactive element or a bar on the top depending on the Qt style used.

But if that does not work, you can also remove the key "state" from the section "[mainWindow]" in the configuarion file at ~/.config/qpdfview/qpdfview.conf which stores the position of the toolbars and so on.

Best regards, Adam.
