a tiny issue (suggestion?) with forms created on Windows

Asked by Art

I have to create a pdf form on Windows every month. The resulted pdf opens fine with qpdfview (currently running 0.4.17beta1 on fedora26 lxqt spin). But it prints with symbols instead of actual text (i got mscorefonts installed by copying them to /usr/share/fonts and running fc-cache, i have hp laserjet m1132 with the corresponding ppd downloaded via hp-plugin).
But it will print fine the ps file generated from that pdf form with pdftops utility (note - pdf2ps in turn generates the same "corrupted" ps file with symbols instead of text).
So maybe this pdftops utility could be somehow incorporated for those rare cases? Just a thought. Sure enough not that big of a deal for me :) But as a mean of a possible improvment maybe?
i guess i could somehow provide at least screenshots if needed.
Cheers, and thanks for your hardwork!
