Request: add shortcut access to closing search panel

Asked by Osso loi

Closing an open text search pane remains one of the few things that still requires the use of a mouse for typical usage. This is particularly tedious to constantly do on laptops with high dpi settings where the pane takes up a valuable patch of monitor area and the button for closing is small.

Hello,

at least with current versions, closing the search dock should be possible using the keyboard. If the standard search dock is used (the default), then triggering the cancel search action (pressing Escape by default) should also close the dock, even if the search is already finished. If the extended search dock is used, then it has a visibility action like the other docks, i.e. pressing F10 by default should show/hide it.

Best regards, Adam.
