Unity dash doesn't record qpdfview recent activities

Asked by monkeybrain2012

Hi,

This is a repost of https://answers.launchpad.net/qpdfview/+question/261820'

I am not sure why the status has been changed to 'invalid' while the problem is a legitimate bug and it has not been solved.

Is it possible to keep it open just as a reminder or if some solution comes along?

Thanks and my apologies for any inconvenience.

Launchpad closes questions if there are not at least "answered" after 15
days of inactivity. Bug reports have much longer timeouts w.r.t.
inactivity, but from your description this does not seem to be a
qpdfview bug since it affects a variety of applications. Have you tried
opening a bug report with the Unity project itself? It might get
rejected but at least they might be able to tell what all affected
programs need to do differently.

Best regards, Adam.

Opps, too soon. Apparently the problem still persists. I must have done something stupid in the test like opening the document from qpdfview's recently open instead of the dash. Sorry for the wrong info.

This question was expired because it remained in the 'Open' state without activity for the last 15 days.
