Kid-safe browsing in FireFox

Asked by THHealy

Hello, so far, so good!

Is there any need to install a kid-safe add-on to FireFox? If so, what is best?

Is there a compatible kid-safe e-mail?

Thanks! Tom

It's a personal decision about whether or not to install content filtering in FireFox. That said, we are working on incorporating Dan's Guardian into a future release of Qimo. You can install it now, but the packages in the repositories aren't quite working properly.

I don't know of any kid-safe email applications, but if you find any please let me know.

Alternatively, there is the closed-source Kidzui application that provides a kid-safe internet experience, and it does have a native Linux client.

Can you help with this problem?
