can qbittorrent use the web interface only?

Asked by Chris

I'd like to set up a server that isn't running an xserver (so doesn't get past run level 2) to save memory.

Ideally I'd like to start qbittorrent from one of the /etc/init.d scripts, and just use the web interface, not the GUI.

Is it possible to configure qbittorrent to start without a local display, and just use the web interface?

No, this is not yet possible. Sorry.

This is on my TODO list and I'll try to implement it as soon as I get some spare time.

I see this ticket is 10 months old. Has there been any word on this?

If not, I'd like to register my "vote" for this feature.

Thank you.

This is planned. v2.0 code was reorganized to prepare for this but it still requires a lot of work.

Can you help with this problem?
