I/O Error?

Asked by uvok

hi,

qBittorrent says that there is an I/O Error, maybe the HDD is full.
But it isn't.
I think that the file may be corrupted, but I don't now how to check...
In the torrent properties theres a checksum. Is it MD5?

I think that it would be good if there wood be a feature in the program that checks the file and reloads it if necessary.

Or is there another way of reloading a file if it is corrupted?

thanks in advantage!

If it happens and your hard drive is not actually full, this is probably a permission problem. Please check that your user have the rights on the save folder(s).

Today I started my computer and qbittorrent, and qbittorrent restarted downloading the torrent.
I really think the file contained in the torrent was damaged...

Here same sort of problems, except that qBittorrent log filed I/O error stating that it could not find some files at the specified location. At the time of download, the file seems to be complete and 100% available. It does not seem to be a problem of space, due to the fact that other (even larger files) downloaded flawlessly and there's still enough storage space left. Unfortunately, the log doesn't get any more specific.
