qbittorrent 2.9.0.1 detected as malware by COMODO antivirus

qbittorrent 2.9.0.1 (windows version) is detected as malware by COMODO antivirus. Downloaded from sourceforge, sha1 checksum matches. Why is that?

Hi,

this is a known false positive. I already contacted the company doing Comodo about it and they told me they would fix it.
I'm not sure why you are still experiencing it. Either:
- Your AV is not up-to-date
- There was a regression and the false positive is back.
- Maybe they only fixed it for more recent versions of qBittorrent

In any case, feel free to contact the company doing your Antivirus and they will recognize the false positive and fix it. There is nothing I can do.
