How to choose existing file when adding a torrent?

Asked by Ternia

When I add a one-file-torrent I'd like to choose existing file, incompletely downloaded one with different name, to download it completely from other tracker. Without manually renaming file. I'd like to point a file, and not just choose a folder. Like in uTorrent. Is it possible?

The only way to do this right now is to choose the correct destination folder and rename the file in qBittorrent from torrent addition dialog, so that it matches the name of the file on the hard disk.

You cannot simply choose a file on the filesystem. I did not know that uTorrent supports that either.

Thanks. I guess it's a necessary function. When I turn to the Linux side, I needed to add over two hundred torrents to qBittorrent. And most my movie files' names are different from original torrent names, because I don't like my tracker's naming system. Adding and renaming this torrents were so agonizing... Maybe add this to the wishlist? I'd add if I find a wishlist...
