What Olson time zones *aren't* supported?

Asked by Danek Duvall

The webpage says that almost all the Olson time zones are supported, but it doesn't say which aren't, or which might not be, or why. Is this just a statement that it might be behind the latest drop from IANA, or is it more meaningful?

It does not support Riyadh from 1987-1989. During this time, I think this region was officially on solar time and the DST offset was constantly changing. The Olson database supports this DST offset changes every 5 seconds, but it is too much for pytz to cope with.

It also skips 'Factory', 'localtime' and 'posixrules' for reasons I don't recall.
