TomTom "Via 125 Live" not supported

Asked by Nick

Hi,

I'm not entirely certain what this model is, but it seems to present a very different interface to other tomtoms I've read about (it's quite new, and the USB mass storage device stuff seems to be called "legacy" in the most recent TomTom home).

Plugged into a linux machine, it registers with the cdc_ether device rather than USB mass storage. You get a 'usb0' with a /30 zeroconf range - the .1 of which is the tomtom, presenting a HTTP server on port 80, and an SSH server on port 22.

I'm quite interested in getting pyTomTom to support this device, if at all possible - I'm going to get it running with the tomtom home application on a windows machine and see what *that* does. I vaguely suspect the HTTP server is a simple web application that you can get/put/post/delete to - and if it uses the SSH server, it must have the private key hanging around somewhere too
