How do I make v6's py-execute-buffer behavior like v5's?

Asked by Rick Muller

There is a change in the behavior of v6's behavior when I use the C-c C-c (py-execute-buffer) function, which is something I use constantly. Can I modify my .emacs file to make this behavior more like the behavior in v5? That is, I just want the *Python Output* buffer, not the *Python* interactive prompt, and I don't want a buffer that I have to kill when I shut emacs down. How can I make this happen?

Thanks.
